From the 16th to 20th April, UN-Habitat’s Barcelona office welcomed the focal points from the four pilot cities implementing the City Resilience Profiling Tool under the Making Cities Sustainable and Resilience Action, financed by the European Commission DEVCO.
Focal points from Maputo, Asuncion, Dakar and Port Vila joined the tool development team in the Barcelona for further training on the Mobility and Ecology aspects of the CRPT. The Generalitat de Catalunya will host a workshop for the four focal points on governance structures in resilience building on Thursday.
Throughout the week, the focal points will exchange valuable experiences and share good practices on how to effectively engage with stakeholders to implement the tool. Focal points from Maputo and Asuncion were particularly keen to share their progress to the newer focal points, Lamine and Olivia, implementing in Dakar and Port Vila respectively.
The week will end with a wrap-up session on communication on how to increase visibility to the ongoing work and the wider EU supported Action.
