World Cities Day 2018


August 24th, 2018

The 31st of October is celebrated as World Cities Day across the globe. The aim is to promote the international community’s interest in urbanization, push forward cooperation among countries and cities to explore opportunities and address the challenges of urbanization, while contributing to sustainable urban development.

World Cities Day contributes to the Sustainable Development Goals and it is recognized by the New Urban Agenda as a priority platform for partners.
